These terms govern your engagement with BilgeQor in Taiwan. Please read them carefully before using our services.
1.Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the services provided by BilgeQor ("we," "our," or "us"), you ("customer," "you," or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
Binding Agreement:
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and BilgeQor, subject to the applicable written scope and contracting terms for a service engagement. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use our services.
Modifications:
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email to customers with active service engagements. Continued use of services after modifications constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
Eligibility:
You must be at least 18 years old and have legal capacity to enter into binding contracts in your jurisdiction. If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of a business entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
2.Services Description
BilgeQor provides professional security assessment, application development, and technical advisory services.
Service Categories:
1. Security Services: Web baseline review, website hardening, application security assessment, AI/cloud readiness review, incident recovery support
2. Application Development Services: Mobile app MVP development, app rescue and rebuild, secure app launch readiness, mobile product advisory
3. Ongoing Advisory Services: Monthly security advisory, mobile product advisory, care/maintenance plans
Professional Services Nature:
Our services are professional consulting and development services, not off-the-shelf software products. Services are delivered remotely under the applicable written scope.
Service Details:
Specific scope, deliverables, and timeline for each service are detailed on individual service pages. Services are packaged into tiers (Starter, Standard, Premium) with different scope and price points.
Custom Scope:
For projects requiring custom scope beyond packaged offerings, contact us for discovery call and manual quotation. Custom scope is available for all service categories.
Delivery Model:
Services are delivered remotely. No on-site visits are included unless explicitly agreed in custom scope arrangements.
3.Payment Terms
All listed prices are shown in NT$. Listed prices exclude any applicable taxes. Taiwan tax treatment and invoicing requirements, where applicable, will be confirmed in writing before a secure payment link is issued.
Payment Method:
Payment is processed through a secure payment link sent after the order request is confirmed. We do not directly process or store credit card data on this website.
Service Start Conditions:
Service delivery begins only after both of the following:
1. Payment has been received via the secure payment link
2. The intake form has been completed, confirming scope, deliverables and timeline
No work begins before payment is confirmed.
Payment Models:
- Direct payment: paid in full before delivery begins (most security and advisory services)
- Deposit payment: 50% before delivery begins, remainder after intake or on delivery (some application development services)
- Recurring payment: monthly recurring charge (monthly advisory, care plan)
The payment model that applies to a given service is shown on that service's page.
Currency:
Prices for the Taiwan market are listed in NT$. Payment is taken in TWD.
4.Taxes and Pricing
Listed prices exclude any applicable taxes. Taiwan tax treatment and invoicing requirements, where applicable, will be confirmed in writing before a secure payment link is issued.
No automatic tax calculation:
This website does not calculate, display or determine Taiwan tax on listed prices. Any applicable Taiwan tax treatment is confirmed in writing on a per-engagement basis before payment.
Invoicing:
Invoicing requirements applicable to a confirmed Taiwan engagement, where any apply, are confirmed in writing in the scope confirmation or engagement record before a secure payment link is issued.
Transparency:
We confirm any applicable tax treatment and invoicing requirements in writing before requesting payment.
5.Refund Policy
Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, available at the /refunds page in your market.
Summary:
- Full refunds available before work begins (before intake completion)
- No refunds after service delivery has started
- Service delivery begins only after payment confirmation AND intake completion

Refund Requests:
All refund requests must be submitted to [email protected] with order ID and payment confirmation details.
6.Limitation of Liability
Professional services are provided on an "as-is" basis with the following liability limitations:
Service Scope:
Our liability is limited to the actual service fees paid for the specific service engagement. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, or punitive damages arising from service delivery or use of deliverables.
Deliverables:
Security assessment reports, code, documentation, and other deliverables are provided as professional opinions and work product. We do not guarantee that implementation of our recommendations will prevent all security incidents or achieve specific business outcomes.
Third-Party Services:
We are not liable for third-party services, tools, or platforms referenced in our deliverables or used during service delivery. This includes but is not limited to payment processors, hosting providers, or development tools.
Maximum Liability:
Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from a service engagement shall not exceed the total fees paid for that specific service engagement.
Indemnification:
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BilgeQor from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our services or deliverables, except where such claims result from our gross negligence or willful misconduct.
Force Majeure:
We are not liable for delays or failures in service delivery caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, government restrictions, internet outages, or other force majeure events.
7.Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
The governing law and dispute-resolution terms applicable to a confirmed engagement will be stated in the written scope confirmation or agreement before a secure payment link is issued.
Pre-engagement disputes:
Before any engagement is confirmed, parties agree to attempt to resolve any disagreement in good faith by direct communication. Contact [email protected] to raise an issue.
Language:
These terms are provided in English. A Traditional Chinese translation is provided for reference. In the event of any inconsistency between the two language versions, the English version is the operative version unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Severability:
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable or invalid under applicable law, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or removed if that is not possible. The remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
